Privacy Policy
Last updated August 2026
This policy explains what Periance collects and how it is used. It is written to be read, not to hide behind length.
What we collect
Account data — your name, email, and organization. Operational data — the systems, people, roles, spend, and relationships imported from the providers you connect, used solely to build and maintain your operational model. We do not collect message content, file contents, or source code.
How we use it
To reconcile and continuously verify your operational state, surface findings, and — only when you approve — take actions. We do not sell your data, and we do not use one customer’s data to serve another. Provider data is not used to train third-party models; the analyst reasons only over a bounded slice of your own state.
Storage & security
Data is stored in Postgres with per-organization Row-Level Security. Provider OAuth tokens are vaulted by our connection provider (Nango) and never stored by Periance. See our Security & data handling page for detail.
Retention & deletion
We retain your operational data while your organization is active. Disconnecting an integration revokes its token and stops further imports. An owner can permanently delete the organization and all associated data at any time from Settings; deletion cascades across every record and is not recoverable.
Your rights & contact
You may access, export (on request), or delete your organization’s data. For any privacy request, contact the team through your account. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with an updated date.
